The Lhori

The Lhori name has developed from the nomadic tribe of the Luren/Luri, resident in southern Persia. The Lhori is a hand-knotted Nomad carpet. The patterns of the Dastafarin-Lhoris originate from carpets from the 16th and 17th centuries and were newly made individually by ORITEP. ORITEP's Lhori are therefore a totally new type of product which can show excellent technical data in addition to the mentioned social- and environmental friendliness:

Wear layer: 100% Persian Highland new wool
Warp: 100% cotton
Weft: 100% cotton
Loop height: 10 - 12 mm
Loop weight: approximately 5,3 kg pro m²
Knot density: approximately 190.000 - 205.000 per m²
Dyes: 100% natural and vegetables dyes
Wash: Gloss wash
Sizes: 60x90, 70x140, 100x150, 120x180, 150x200, 200x200, 170x240, 200x250, 200x300, 80x200, 80x250, 80x300

There may be variations in size, patterns and dyes as a result of being handmade. Tolerance of variation up to 5% is usual.
